Grand Opening of the 21st Belgrade Fashion Week- Apr. 2007Black and White isn’t the contrast of good and bad, but it’s the contrast of 2 invisible though influential evil of every contemporary human being....and though they are symbiotic, they're presented as two separated energies. They are from nature, they are essential, they are aggressive and greedy, they know each other well and act strong…they are war and money. B&W is non-joinable combination of man’s elegant suite and functional military form. The very contrast is presented through elements of military costume on one side and classic suite on the other – with first one - carrying similar associations in the history of every nation – suffering, pain, terror - and being designed in strict and stiff forms and always with same idea, to intimidate the enemy …and the second one representing, through time, success and power and being synonym for money
